Ai no kusabi - The Kiss

I'm in a critiquing mood tonight. This is one of my favorite pieces just because it is incredibly romantic but also seemingly desperate. One is Iason's need to fill a void in a life of order with little chaos, second is a romance that takes so much work to surface. AnK is very much an industrial Romeo and Juliet story, two distinct families, one of elites and one the mongrels of society, their love is forbidden, they must hide it but they do exploit it and the end result is their demise. I can see their imminent demise based on the powerful expressions of your faces.
